Classic Itinerary - South Sha'ab Rumi...

In the months of April, May and June, when the weather conditions are favorable, you have the opportunity to carry out this intriguing itinerary designed specifically to complete - within a week - the most beautiful dives of the classic tour and the most beautiful of the South tour.

The first stop will be Sha'ab Rumi , considered one of the ten most beautiful diving sites in the world.
Here the wonderful southern tip and northern tip , although very different from each other, will allow unforgettable encounters, in a frame of a still uncontaminated reef, and where you can take a dip in the past on the remains of the Precontinent II , where Cousteau made his studies experimenting with his crew for 44 days the survival of man underwater.

The second stop will be Sanganeb ; the southern tip and the northern tip are truly spectacular dive sites, both from the benthic point of view and for the great encounters with pelagics of various types.
From here, continue for 23 miles in a southerly direction until you reach Jumna , a large triangular reef in the middle of the sea. This spectacular dive is characterized by a gigantic wall full of caves and ravines, ideal for photography lovers, as it offers truly striking contrasts of light. This point, completely in the middle of the sea, gives the opportunity to admire numerous groups of hammerhead sharks parading elegantly in the blue, as well as clouds of barracudas and silk sharks swimming on the surface.

Another stop on our South tour will be Sha'ab Ambar , a huge 11-mile-long lagoon, where you will dive into the South and North sides, with a very particular morphology and very rich in life. Continuing on you will reach the Pinnacle , a madreporic tower that rises from the depths touching the surface; here you will admire an infinite amount of fish and multicolored alcionari. Then, of course, as in all dives in Sudan, there will always be the opportunity to meet large swarms of hammerhead sharks! The decisive aspect will be the presence of current that brings sharks closer to the reef. Returning from this intense full immersion, the last stop will be Wingate Reef , famous for the imposing wreck of Umbria .
